Setting Up a Windows 95 to connect to the Internet with MoonStar using the Internet Connection Wizard when Internet Explorer v3 is installed

Step 1:

Click on Start, select Programs, then select Accessories then select Internet Tools. Here you will see listed either Get on the Internet or Internet Set Up Wizard, click on whichever one is present on your computer. You will now see a screen headed Get Connected! Step 2:

Select Manual and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 3:

You will now see a screen headed Welcome to Internet Setup: Read the information on this page and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 4:

Select Connect using my phone line and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 5:

If you wish to use Microsoft Exchange as your email program select Yes and then click Next. If you do not select No, then click Next and skip steps 6, 7, and 8 - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 6:

At this point you may say a screen headed Installing Files. You may be asked for you Windows 95 diskettes or CD at this stage so have them handy then click Next and follow the instructions - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 7:

Check Use Internet Mail. In the Your Email address field enter your MoonStar email address and in the Internet mail server field enter luna.moonstar.com - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 8:

Under Profile: select Internet Mail Settings and check Use this profile when starting Windows Messaging - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 9:

Under Select a modem to use to connect to the Internet your modem should already be selected - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 10:

In the Name of Service Provider: field enter MoonStar - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 11:

In the Area code field enter 434, in the Telephone number field enter 392 7670, in the Country code: field make sure United States of America is selected, make sure that Bring up terminal window after dialing is not checked, then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 12:

In the User name: field enter your MoonStar username, in the Password: field enter your MoonStar password and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 13:

Select My Internet Service Provider automatically assigns me one and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 14:

In the DNS Server field enter 208.196.76.2, in the Alternate DNS Server field enter 208.196.76.14 and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 15:

You will now see a screen headed Complete configuration, click Finish - Select this link to see a screen shot
