Setting Up Netscape 6 For Your MoonStar Email Account on Windows 95/98/ME

Step 1:

Double Click on the "Netscape 6" Icon (If you do not see one click on the Start button, select Programs and then select Netscape) - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 2:

Click on the Tasks menu and then select Mail & Newsgroups. (This will open the Netscape 6 mail program.) - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 3:

Click on the Edit menu and select Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 4:

Click on the New Account button - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 5:

For Select the type of account you would like to setup select ISP or email provider and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 6:

In the Your Name: field enter your real name as you would like it displayed on email messages that you send. In the Email Address enter you MoonStar email address, and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 7:

Select POP, under Enter the name of your incoming server in the Server Name field enter luna.moonstar.com, under Enter the name of your outgoing server in the Server Name field enter mx.moonstar.com, and then click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 8:

In the User Name field enter your MoonStar username - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 9:

In the Account Name field enter something to help you identify this account information. We recommend entering your email address. Click Next - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 10:

You will now be shown the information that you entered so that you can verify it is all correct. If it is correct click on Finish - Select this link to see a screen shot

Step 11:

Click on Outgoing Server (SMTP) and in the Server Name field enter mx.moonstar.com, then click OK - Select this link to see a screen shot
