By-Laws for Cruiser Club Chapter 30, USA

Article 1 - We are a LLC Partnership.

Article 2 - Every rider in a Cruiser Club USA chapter or subchapter must maintain a legal motorcycle-endorsed driver's license and current insurance coverage. Visual verification of these will be required before club membership is ratified and a membership patch is issued. A candidate for membership must provide all the required information on the application.

Article 3 - The Cruiser Club USA logo is worn as an emblem of club membership and not as the symbol of a gang. Our patch identifies us by giving the city, state, and chapter number in order to distinguish Chapter 30 from other chapters while at the same time uniting us under the Cruiser Club USA national organization. Adding "rockers" or "panels" to our logo will create problems with 1% of the motorcyclists who belong to outlaw clubs; therefore, any such modifications are prohibited. We are a family oriented organization and take pride in our law-abiding conduct.

Article 4 - Upon joining the club, members will receive a membership card and a club pin. Additional club merchandise is available through our chapter upon request.

Article 5a - During no business meeting, club event, or club sponsored activity shall any member engage in any behavior (e.g. alcohol or drug use) that could endanger any person's health or well-being. Members shall always ride responsibly.

Article 5b - Participation in any meeting, club event, or sponsored function will be at the discretion of each member. Neither the Cruiser Club USA nor its chapters or subchapters is liable for accidents, lost or stolen articles, or damaged property.

Article 5c - Anytime that members of the Cruiser Club USA are on their motorcycles and are wearing the Cruiser Club USA logo, they are to represent the club by good behavior and not jeopardize the club's reputation.

Article 6a - The National Cruiser Club USA organization authorizes collection of annual dues in the amount of $30.00 for an individual membership and $45.00 for a joint membership. A joint membership consists of two or more individuals from the same household. Five dollars is remitted to the national organization for each individual member, and five dollars is remitted for each person listed under a joint membership.

Article 6b - Any change in membership dues will be determined by the National Committee upon request by a local chapter. If an increase is granted, then it shall not exceed ten percent of the dues for the current year.

Article 6c - Dues will be used to cover the costs of newsletters, stamps, envelopes, entrance fees and similar expenses. Members will pay their dues directly to their local chapter. The president of each chapter will pay the chapter dues directly to the National Office in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Article 7 - Anyone has the right to start a new chapter. If a chapter is already established and members from the existing group would like to break away to form a new one, they must contact the chapter president to state their intentions. Then, they must contact the national organization for approval.

Article 8 - These by-laws will not be revised, altered, or changed for any chapter unless approved in writing by the National Cruiser Club USA Committee.
