WELCOME TO FBF

The Psalms teach that God inhabits the praise of His people. At Faith Bible Fellowship we seek to make God "at home" through continual praise and worship, through prayer "without ceasing," and through careful scrutiny of and obedience to His Word.

Then, through the power of His presence, we love and care for one another, fulfilling Christ's desire: "All men will know that you are my disciples if you love one another." We encourage one another to pure and holy living.

We have an abiding belief in the value and efficacy of prayer. Our prayer chain spreads praises and petitions quickly throughout the fellowship.

As a community of Christians, interdenominational and evangelical in scope, we welcome all who desire a close walk with God through His revelation in Jesus Christ.

Our minister, Lee Copeland, is ordained through the Norfolk Tabernacle Church and is a graduate of Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana. He and his wife, Betty, have three children.

Because salvation and discipleship depend on the authority of God's Word, we make biblical teaching the basis for all we do. We encourage honest and open inquiry into the Scriptures to discover how they can enrich our daily living.

We take seriously Christ's injunction to proclaim the Good News throughout the world, beginning with our own communities in Southside Virginia.

We support missionary endeavors both at home and abroad, from ministries on the local college campuses to those in Europe and the third world. We offer extensive prayer for the specific needs of the dozen or so missionaries God is enabling us to care for.

If you have questions or comments about our church, please write to Richard McClintock, one of our elders, at rmcclintock@hsc.edu.
