and contains his family tree history from 1500 until the present time. In fact,
there is one last entry, prior to 1500, on the stick that has no recorded dates.
Gerry was born in Springfield, Illinois, and was raised in the surrounding rural area there.
He spent almost thirty years in law enforcement with the USAF and the
Metropolitan Police
Department in Washington, DC.
Along the way he developed an interest in family genealogy.
During the past year he commissioned me to craft two walking sticks.
Each walking stick includes a family tree comprised of
seven and fifteen generations
respectively.
As time marches on, I expect to see Gerry again.
