Meherrin, VA. - History & Information

Meherrin is a small town located on route 360 about
seventy miles West of Petersburg, VA. The town was on
the basic retreat route of General Lee after signing
the surrender documents at Appomattox Court House,
ending the Civil War.

Meherrin was also the birth place of singer and
comedian Roy Clark.
