The VIRGINIA HIKING
STICK COMPANY

Master Chief Pete Poillon recently retired from an East Coast Seal Team Unit after an eventful career. His retirement stick depicts the major, unclassified events, during this career.

Special Force sticks can be completed for any branch of the service that has a Special Force Group and includes the Navy Seals, Marine Recon Groups, Delta Force membership, and even the British SAS.

Special Force retirement sticks can be embellished with metal rating badges or pins, military metals earned, collar devices,
tie tacks, cap devices, and other military items.

They make an excellent gift for presentation at
the member's retirement ceremony.

The front of the stick normally has all the metal rating badges from recruit to E9 or the members grade at retirement with the date of each advancement carved in the stick under each badge. The front or back side of the stick also has a complete listing of the members duty stations during his or her career, complete with all transfer dates.

A retirement stick from a civilian company is
equally appropriate with the dates of employment,
advancement milestones, and with the company's
logo carved into the stick.
